Mission & Vision for over 30 years

The Indiana Military Museum (IMM) exists to serve the citizens of the community, the state, and the nation with educational programming, archives, displays, and opportunities for intense research related to Americaís military history from the American Revolution to the present day. The museum is dedicated to fostering the memory, understanding, and appreciation of U.S. military history. This is accomplished by maintaining, preserving, and displaying artifacts which represent the strength and freedom of our American heritage.

Knox Community Foundation

Site hosting is generously provided by the Knox County Community Foundation. Founded in 1996, the Knox County Community Foundation helps all kinds of individuals, families, and businesses carry out their individual charitable plans, with the common goal of improving the quality of life in Knox County, today and for generations to come. The Community Foundation is a charitable organization through which people carry out their charitable giving and from which nonprofit organizations and programs seek funding. By acting as a conduit between the two, the Foundation achieves its mission of enhancing the lives of all Knox County residents. Today, the Foundation administers 70 funds with total assets of over $6 million. The Knox County Community Foundation is a member of the Community Foundation Alliance, Inc.
